CLEANING SPECIALIST — LODGE HOUSEKEEPING
Season: November 2026 — March 2027
Our philosophy: The Holmen Way
About the Role
As Cleaning Specialist at Holmen Husky Lodge, you are the reason a guest opens the door to their Forest Suite and feels like no one has been there before. Seven architect-designed cabins, 62 m², built from solid timber among the pines. Each one needs to be immaculate, warm, and ready — every day.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Full preparation of all seven Forest Suites between guest stays
- Clean and restock the guest wardrobe, changing facilities, and shared bathrooms
- Sort, dry, and organise guest clothing and equipment returned from tours
- Check and replenish toiletries, paper, and soap throughout the day
- Keep all guest-facing areas tidy and guest-ready at all times
What We’re Looking For
- High personal standards — the difference between clean and genuinely ready matters to you
- Experience in housekeeping, domestic cleaning, or a similar role
- Self-managing and thorough — you work through a checklist without being chased
- Comfortable working in cold outdoor conditions between buildings
- Positive and discreet — guests may be around during your shift
Trial Period
All new crew members begin with a one-month trial period. This allows both you and the team to evaluate whether the role and lifestyle are a good fit. You'll work alongside experienced team members, gradually building confidence in the full routine while receiving regular feedback and support.
Life at Holmen
The lodge runs seasonally:
- Autumn (September–November): Preparation, onboarding, and pre-season setup
- Winter (November–April): Full tour and lodge season — the kitchen runs at full capacity
- Spring/Summer (April–August): Off-season rest and recovery
What We Offer
- Accommodation on-site or in a neighbouring property (private bedroom)
- Access to a staff car and local gym
- A respected and essential role within a close, international team
- Competitive seasonal compensation (based on experience and year at Holmen)
A Role That Matters.
If you take pride in your work, want to live somewhere extraordinary, and are looking for a season with real purpose — we'd love to hear from you.
