EVENING MANAGER — FRONT OF HOUSE
Season: November 2026 — March 2027
Our philosophy: The Holmen Way
About the Role
As Lodge Crew at Holmen Husky Lodge, you move between breakfast service, waitressing at dinner, supporting guest check-ins at reception, and helping the housekeeping team prepare the Forest Suites. No two days are identical. You are the connective tissue of the lodge operation — and one of its most essential parts.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Breakfast service: set up, serve, and clear the Barn buffet for overnight guests (07:30–11:30)
- Evening waitressing: serve à la carte dinner in the Barn, assist with bar and guest requests
- Reception support: assist with guest check-ins, answer questions, help guests navigate the property and schedule
- Housekeeping support: assist with suite preparation, wardrobe tidying, and equipment organisation between shifts
What We’re Looking For
- Some hospitality or service experience — comfortable with guests in any setting
- Adaptable with a "what needs doing next" attitude
- Good communicator — our guests come from all over the world
- Positive energy on early starts and late finishes
- Genuine curiosity about how the full operation works
Trial Period
All new crew members begin with a one-month trial period. This allows both you and the team to evaluate whether the role and lifestyle are a good fit. You'll rotate across all areas of the lodge, learning each part of the operation while receiving regular feedback and support.
Life at Holmen
The lodge runs seasonally:
- Autumn (September–November): Preparation, onboarding, and pre-season setup
- Winter (November–April): Full tour and lodge season — the kitchen runs at full capacity
- Spring/Summer (April–August): Off-season rest and recovery
What We Offer
- Accommodation on-site or in a neighbouring property (private bedroom)
- Access to a staff car and local gym
- The chance to learn every part of how Holmen works — an excellent foundation for future seasons
- Competitive seasonal compensation (based on experience and year at Holmen)
