The most important things to bring with you are:

• Basic layer of wool underwear (100% wool is the best)
• Pair of thick 100% wool socks (can also be bought here)
• Face covering, neck warmer
• Wool sweater, or a good fleece
• Winter jacket and outdoor pants (no jeans)
• Bathing suit (use of the sauna / outdoor jacuzzi)

We will provide you with a proper winter suit, mittens, hat, boots, goggles and if necessary also a headlamp. Our guides will take care of all necessary safety equipment. The safety briefing is part of the instruction session on the second day.

Age restrictions:

• The minimum age to participate in this experience is 5 years old.
• 5 - 12-year-old children are required to sit between an adult's legs on the cart.
• 13 - 15-year-old children are allowed to sit independently on the cart and can drive independently under the supervision of a guide.

• The minimum age for driving solo is 16 years old

Disclaimer:

Alaskan huskies are polar animals and weather conditions, specifically warm temperatures, create situations unsafe for them to run in. Holmen Husky, therefore, reserves the right to cancel trips if the temperatures become unsuitable for our dogs. The weather can be extreme at times in this part of the world and we reserve the right to change an itinerary or cancel a trip if the conditions appear to be unsafe.
