The excursion begins in Alta's Fiskerihavna (harbor).

The King Crab gets caught in a "pot," a box-shaped trap, which is then raised out of the water and placed on the boat. You can watch the experienced skipper in action. You can hold the King Crab gently and take pictures with it once it is on board.

You must arrive 30 minutes before the departure time. Warm coveralls and life jackets will be provided to you at the meeting location.
