5 Day Experience

This is Holmen Husky Lodge’s most complete winter journey: a small-group dog sledding experience guided by an experienced musher, designed around hands-on dog care, intimate Arctic accommodations, and the deep stillness of the north.

Over five days, you’ll travel by sled in pairs through remote landscapes, caring for your own team of Alaskan Huskies along the way. With no light pollution and wide-open skies, the Northern Lights often appear overhead — turning quiet nights into lifelong memories.

Each night brings something different: a rustic wilderness musher’s lodge and the modern warmth of your own Forest Suite — both at the beginning and end of the journey. Every detail is thoughtfully designed to bring you closer to the trail, the dogs, and the rhythm of Arctic life.

Absolutely amazing 😊

Dogsledding is by far "the activity" you should try if visiting Northern Norway, and Holmen Husky is the right provider! Enjoyed it so much, loveble huskies and very friendly and knowledgeble guides. Bravo!

Tremendous, Fantastic and superb. Exhilarating experience!

We weren't sure what to expect but we wanted to have an inroad into the husky lifestyle and experience. We chose well. Beautifully committed and passionate guides and facilitators made this experience a highlight of our full holiday experience. You get to ride the sleigh in train formation, we did a night and morning run and enjoyed both for different reasons. Do the night one first and marvel at where you were the next time.
